We have more than 20 live concerts at the town square in Ringkøbing every year. Enjoy the music every saturday in June, July and August plus every monday in the summer vacation. Besides this there will be live music at events in the city and Open by Nights.
You can enjoy jazz, rock'n'øroll, country, danish top, pop and rock music. We do out best to have as much different music, so there will be something for as many music tastes as possible.
At the town square it is possible to enjoy meals and drinks from the different restaurants.

The music on the town square is arrenged by the association "Musik på Torvet". The association was established in 2009 with the purpose to arrange concerts at the town square. The revenue in the association comes from the members, who among others are the restaurants, shops and companies around the town square.

Ringkøbing Handelsforening arrange more free concerts in conjunction with events in the city.
Musik på torvet i Ringkøbing er en tradition, der har eksisteret i mange år. I midten af 1990’erne blev der opført en mindre pavillon ved Torvet, der skulle fungere som scene for musik arrangementerne. Det blev så stor en succes, at den fik lov at stå helt til 2011.
Music at the town square is a tradition in Ringkøbing that has excisted for many years. In the mid 1990's a smaller pavilion was built with the purpose as a stage for music events. It was so succesfull that it remained standing until 2011.
Here the town council decided to built and finance a more permanent stage. This is what we today know as "Estraden" at the town square. This stage is the center for amazing outdoor concerts. The mood on a summerday with music and lots of people is for sure something special to experience.
